SVibe Curve - AKA The Snail 🐌 - Review. (It Got Slippery...)

This is inspired by thispost on FetLife, and the comments that followed. I had no idea so many people have also seen it pop up on their socials, and we're just as intrigued by this vibrating dildos unusual shape, and the hype around it that has been promised.The status was posted half as a joke, laughing at my own algorithm and I was kinda scared that I had fallen prey to the Marketing Gods (we know they are not Goddesses but that's a different rant 😉) But I was also just very excited. I was under the impression that it could only be purchased online. I was delighted to find it at a local sex store. Even more so as my original rabbit had gone missing a few weeks ago, like it grew its own legs and hopped away - GONE. It was pure luck when I walked into a store, that I was a little frustrated with google because I had wanted another store... but Google maps brought me to a smaller one... and who knew I would be walking out, 10 mins later one very happy and surprised woman.

Not that you have the backstory, here is my honest review, and answering some questions that have been left in the comments.

I give the 🐌 a 9.5 / 10

9.5 is extremely high praise. I’m someone with a wonderfully sensitive body, and I don’t have trouble orgasming, and know what it’s like to have different types often within the same sexual session. You know your body, or are learning about it, so take whatever I say here with a grain of salt. But after all of that, this toy still gave me the best orgasm I’ve ever received from a sex toy, on the first try. 

Two Motors - Separately Controlled

I love how you can control these settings separately. We don’t need vibrating dildos with 10’s of different vibrating patterns. MOST people with a vagnina tend to stick to the constant vibrations and increase the intensity (1-2-3 are widely used) none of this pulse - crap, because we need consistency to cum (Ha! We also need consistency in other aspects of our lives too in order to get us into bed 😉 , and cum.)

However, the patterns that the Snail gives you are ones that were chosen by vaginas, because they hold the frequency long enough, while also giving surprises of increased or well timed in-action. The ability to adjust the separate motors means you can really attune it to what you like on your clit, and hitting the clit from the inside too - because it might not be the same frequency on both that gets you to that O.

I’ve had rabbits hit the two spots at the same time, but never like this.

The motors are quiet, probably some of the quietest I’ve experienced. 

The Shape Of The Snail

When social Ads hyped up the shape of the curve, I thought it was just for the sake of marketing it. NOPE! The shape really did a fantastic job fitting to my body, and the snail “rolling” really did stay in contact with the outside of my clit while the rest of it was inserted over-and-over again. It took a minute to adjust it, and it was inserted by a partner during play time, but he found it easy to maneuver, which made it so he could sit back and watch the pleasure unfold instead of having to be meticulous with the buttons or pressing “my certain buttons.”

This is not for size-play. To the girlies and theys who love a thicker barrel, and feeling full, while this toy certainly felt full in me, it does not give a stretch feeling. I appreciate that it didn’t. 

Smooth Material

The material of the Snail seems to be silicone, very smooth and almost soft and hard. Completely waterproof - which is a very good thing… 🌊. I’m not sure about completely submerging it, as it has magnetic components for charging. But for those that are gifted in the wetter side of life, this toy is waterproof. I didn’t notice the ridges on the snail part, but I appreciated that it was ridge at all in the insertion - sometimes even ribbed condoms can be too much for my delicate downstairs. 

Charging & Running The Toy

Instructions said to charge it for 2 hours before initial use, while the wait was hard it was totally worth it! It ran for about half an hour total, while used during play and stopped in between different activities. 

It was used for orgasm control, pushing me to my edges of pleasure. This is the first sex toy I’ve ever had to use the safeword to end play because I could not take any more pleasure - it was delicious. While it is never the goal to safeword in a scene, to have to do so because you are too far in subspace due to pleasure is a unique experience. Something that prior to this toy only electricity and a certain headspace, and very intricate actions could do.

Price

The retail price where I found the Snail was $199. Luckily they had a promotion, and I received 20% off, so it was purchased for about $180. 

To some people that’s a drop in the bucket, for others it might be a splurge. Either way it is worth it. I’ve seen vibrating sex toys that retail for more than this, and I’ve been disappointed in the results - remember, I’m fairly easy to O. But I have never purchased any toy that gave me these powerful of orgasms. 

Why The Missing .5?

I wish the snail head was just a smidge bigger or longer, giving easier access to the outside of the clitoris. I would have loved just a bit more vibrating coverage around my nub. 

But every vagina anatomy is different, and it was easy to adjust and find a position that did end up rocking me and my world. 💥
