Aftercare For Submissives

If you identify as a bottom or submissive, you’ve already heard this truth: the scene didn’t start or end at just the play, what happens outside of the play activities matter just as much, if not more. This is called care, most specifically in the scene Aftercare.

What’s Included:

Aftercare is a vital part of every BDSM scene and every power exchange. It’s how we bring our nervous system back into balance after intensity, vulnerability, and altered states. And yet… so many submissives are left wondering:

What do I actually need after a scene?

Why do I feel off hours or days later?

How do I ask for aftercare without feeling needy, awkward, or unsure?

This workshop is designed specifically for bottoms and submissives who want clarity, language, and confidence around aftercare—before they play, while they’re in a dynamic, and long after the scene is over.

What this workshop is about

Aftercare is the set of practices we use, alone or with a partner, to help regulate our nervous system after BDSM activities that push our physical, emotional, or psychological edges. It supports the body as adrenaline drops, hormones shift, and vulnerability settles in. Without it, many people experience “drop”: emotional crashes, anxiety, sadness, disconnection, or physical discomfort.

In this class, we slow things down and make aftercare personal. Not a checklist. Not what social media says you “should” want. But what you actually need.

What you’ll learn and experience

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand what aftercare really is and why it’s essential in BDSM.

  • Learn how intense play affects the nervous system, hormones, and emotions.

  • Identify your unique aftercare needs: physical, emotional, and psychological.

  • Discover why knowing your aftercare needs before playing or entering a dynamic is a form of self-respect and consent.

  • Gain clear, practical language to communicate your aftercare needs to a play partner or Dominant.

  • Discover how to adapt different aftercare activities when your original plan goes awry.

  • Learn how aftercare can evolve over time and across different scenes and relationships.

Guided, Embodied Exploration

This is not just information. It's a lived experience.

You’ll be guided through a grounding meditation designed to help you listen to your body and inner cues, followed by a structured activity that helps you map what matters most to you in aftercare. This gives you a real starting point, something you can return to, refine, and share.

You’ll also leave with grounded next steps: simple, doable practices you can use after scenes, between play, and when negotiating future dynamics.

Why This Matters

Knowing your aftercare needs before you play protects you. It reduces harm, prevents emotional fallout, and builds stronger, safer, more connected dynamics. Aftercare isn’t an “extra.” It’s not a favor. It’s part of the scene, and part of honoring yourself as a submissive.

If you’ve ever felt unsure, unsteady, or alone after play…
If you’ve ever struggled to explain what you need…
If you want to step into your submission with more clarity and self-trust…

This workshop is for you.

Come learn how to care for yourself, advocate for your needs, and build scenes and dynamics that truly support you: before, during, and after.
